Thank you for taking the time to read the farm rules before your trip! Although tedious, this is to ensure safety for our guests, staff, farm and surrounding neighbors. Please be courteous and safe while having fun!
General Farm Rules
- All Kids Must Be Accompanied By An Adult. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for all farm activities. Parents/chaperones are responsible for their children and all group members at all times.
- No Alcohol, Drugs, Profanity or Persons Under The Influence permitted on the property.
- No Running, Horseplay or Destruction Of Property. That includes all Green Acres property (corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin patch, farm in general) and on surrounding properties.
- No Pets allowed on the farm. Service animals are the only exception.
- No Refunds. This also applies if you decide to not participate in the corn maze but just want to participate in the hay ride.
- No Smoking, Open Flames or E-cigarettes on the farm.
- Please Keep Our Farm Clean. Be respectful and do not litter.
- Please Be Patient And Courteous with all staff and customers on the farm.
- No Vandalism. Any persons involved in vandalism, including the throwing of corn and damage to corn stalks, will be removed from the premises without a refund and will face legal charges. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.
- Do Not Stray Outside Permissible Farm Locations. While on the farm for fall activities, you are only allowed on the farm entrance, hay ride trail, corn maze and pumpkin patch. Do not trespass to other farm locations or other properties that are close to, but do not belong to, Green Acres Farm.
- Do Not Disturb Farm Animals. All farm animals are outside permissible farm locations. They are not a part of fall farm activities.
- Not Liable For Injury or Property Loss. Green Acres Farm is not liable for any personal injury or property loss.
- Last Ticket Will Be Sold No Later Than 1 Hour Before Close. Last hay ride and corn maze admission will be no later than 6 PM, NO exceptions.
Corn Maze Rules
- No Running or Horseplay inside the maze.
- Please Stay on the Paths. Short-cuts permanently damage the maze and ruin the fun for everyone.
- No Vandalism. Vandalizing will not be tolerated. Do not pick, throw, or damage the corn, stations or other objects found inside the maze.
- No Smoking, Open Flames or E-cigarettes are permitted in the corn maze.
- Keep the Maze Clean. Please keep our maze clean and use the trash cans provided.
- Use Porta-Potty. Do not go to the bathroom inside the corn maze. Porta potties are available on the farm and should be used before entering the corn maze.
- Be Courteous. Do not scare or disrespect other people inside the corn maze.
- No Bicycles, Four Wheelers, or Dirt Bikes permitted in the corn maze. Parents are permitted to use strollers and wagons to carry their children.
- Wear Open-Toed Shoes At Your Own Risk. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Wear shoes at all times while at the farm.
- Not Liable For Injury or Property Loss. Green Acres Farm is not liable for any personal injury or property loss.
Hay Ride Rules
- All Members Must Remain Seated At All Times. No standing nor sitting on the railings/edges.
- No Smoking, Open Flames or E-cigarettes Permitted On The Ride.
- Keep Hands And Feet In Wagon At All Times.
- Children Must Be Seated With An Adult At All Times.
- No Horseplay Or Inappropriate Behavior Will Be Tolerated. Especially if the behavior breaks any of the farm activity rules.
- The Hay Rides Final Departure EVERY Evening Is 6 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is to give the last group ample time for the final hay ride, to go through the corn maze and to pick out pumpkins before returning to the farm entrance by hay ride.
Pumpkin Patch Rules
- No Kicking Or Throwing Of The Pumpkins.
- Do Not Cut A Pumpkin Off The Vine Unless You Wish To Purchase The Pumpkin.
- No Running Or Horseplay In The Pumpkin Patch.
- All Pumpkins Are Not Included In The Price Of Admission. All pumpkins must be purchased separately.
- Do Not Destroy Pumpkin Patch Or Disturb Surrounding Fields.
Weekday Scheduled Group Rules
- Must Be Scheduled In Advance. For schools, churches, organizations, etc. to come for a field trip during the week, please call Pati to schedule during the week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays only).
- All Group Members, Parents, Guardians, Chaperones, and Guests Are Required To Purchase Admission. This admission price is at the group rate and is mandatory regardless of age or involvement. Again, all individuals, including young children and adults, must pay for admission into Green Acres Farm if participating in a group function.
- Your Group Must Have A Designated Individual In Charge Of Organizing And Monitoring Group Members. Green Acres Farm does not provide a trip coordinator.
- Food And Drinks Will Not Be Provided During Scheduled Visits. If providing your own picnic during your scheduled time visit, Green Acres Farm will not be responsible for the clean up. Please be respectful and do not leave litter behind.
- Green Acres Farm Reserves The Right To Eject Any Group Members from the farm if rules are severely disobeyed and/or severe misconduct is observed.
